Downtown McPherson gets fresh crosswalk and parking stripes
Businesses will receive door-hanger notifications if nearby parking stalls are affected
MCPHERSON, Kan. — Downtown McPherson visitors will navigate freshly painted crosswalks and parking spaces over the coming weeks as city crews update street markings. The McPherson Street Department began the striping project Tuesday, and workers will leave door-hanger notifications for local businesses when nearby parking stalls are affected. City officials urge drivers to slow down and give crews ample room when passing through work zones marked by traffic cones.
