Cyclists to take on six Reno County routes in Sand Plum Bicycle Classic
Annual ride benefits local trail expansion efforts
HUTCHINSON — Cyclists will hit the roads of Reno County on Sunday at 7 a.m. for the annual Sand Plum Bicycle Classic, which features four paved and two gravel route options to accommodate a variety of skill levels. Presented by Harley's Bicycles and hosted by the Hutchinson Recreation Commission, the community ride raises funds for the local Friends of the Trail Fund to support walking and biking trail enhancements. Registration is available online for $45 through May 30, with day-of entry fees increasing to $50.
