Cowley College to Host Spring Transfer and Job Fair

ARKANSAS CITY — Cowley College will host its Spring College Transfer and Job Fair on Feb. 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Wright Room of the Brown Center.

The event will bring together colleges, universities and employers in one location for students exploring their next steps after community college.

"Whether you're planning to transfer, looking for a job, or exploring your options, this event is for you," the college said in its announcement.

More than 20 colleges and employers are expected to participate, offering information on transfer and career opportunities. Attendees will also receive free cookies and have a chance to win a $50 gift card.

The fair is designed to help students navigate their post-Cowley College plans, whether that involves continuing their education at a four-year institution or entering the workforce.

The event is being organized in partnership with the Economic Development Partnership and KansasWorks Workforce Center, according to promotional materials.

The Wright Room is located in Cowley College's Brown Center on the Arkansas City campus. No registration appears to be required to attend the fair.
