Cowley College Quiz Bowl Team Places Third at Snow Bowl Tournament

ARKANSAS CITY — The Cowley College Quiz Bowl team secured third place at the Snow Bowl Tournament, finishing with a 7-2 record after nine rounds of competition against colleges from Kansas and Oklahoma.

The six-member team demonstrated resilience in two close matches against Murray State A, according to a social media post from the college.

Eli Hubble earned individual recognition by placing second overall while also serving as team captain. Teammate Rawson Ray placed ninth in individual standings.

"We're proud of every team member for their hard work, teamwork, and competitive spirit," the college stated.

The tournament showcased academic competition among regional colleges, testing participants' knowledge across multiple subject areas through nine rounds of quiz bowl matches.
