Cowley College Launches Youth Choir for Young Singers in Grades 3-7

ARKANSAS CITY — Cowley College is inviting young singers from Cowley County and surrounding areas to join its newly formed youth choir program for students in grades three through seven.

The first rehearsal is scheduled for Jan. 27, 2026, at the Cowley College Choir Room. Regular rehearsals will take place Tuesdays from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the college.

Registration costs $20, which covers the expense of a Cowley Youth Choir T-shirt. Students can register online at https://cowleycollege.luulas.com/index.php/slsw_id=203056485.

The choir will be directed by A.J. Wilkins Harper, according to promotional materials released by the college.

"Calling All Young Singers!" the college announced in its recruitment message, describing the program as "a fun and inspiring musical experience."

Organizers encouraged interested students to "let your voice shine" and register for the program. The registration link includes a QR code for easy mobile access.

The initiative represents Cowley College's effort to provide structured musical education opportunities for elementary and middle school students in the region. No prior choir experience appears to be required for participation.

Parents and students seeking additional information can access the registration portal through the college's website or contact Cowley College directly.
