Cowley College Hosts Fall Robotics Competition for Area Students
ARKANSAS CITY — Forty-six students from five area schools competed in the Cowley College Fall Robotics Competition, testing their skills in 12 robotics challenges.
Students from Mulvane, Udall, Winfield, Arkansas City and the Arkansas City Gifted 5th Grade group participated in the event, which showcased innovation, teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
The competition featured 12 challenges that put participants' robotics skills to the test through hands-on activities and collaborative exercises.
Three teams earned top honors in the competition:
- First place: Udall Team No. 2
- Second place: Udall Team No. 1
- Third place: Arkansas City Team No. 5
"A huge thank you to the judges and volunteers who made this event possible and helped inspire the next generation of innovators," Cowley College officials said in a social media post Thursday.
The Fall Robotics Competition aims to engage students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics education while fostering collaboration and creative problem-solving skills.
Cowley College is located at 125 S. Second St. in Arkansas City.
