County and City of Galva to Partner on Main Street Repaving Project

GALVA - The county will partner with the City of Galva on a major project to mill, patch, and overlay Main Street through the town. The commission approved a contract with APAC for the work, which will cover the road from Highway 56 to Northview Road. Under the agreement, McPherson County and the City of Galva will split the costs, with the county’s share estimated at $240,000. The project allows both entities to save on mobilization costs and provides a complete overhaul of the thoroughfare.
