Local Pizza Hut delivers meals to Midway Motors staff as they recover from Wednesday blaze
MCPHERSON, Kan. — As Midway Motors employees work to salvage their operations following an early morning fire that severely damaged their dealership, the McPherson community is stepping up to provide comfort and support.
The local Pizza Hut delivered pizzas to the dealership's crew Thursday to help feed staff during the ongoing cleanup. The delivery came with a handwritten message inside the box lid that read, "The Crew at Pizza Hut sends our Love." Midway Motors staff publicly expressed their gratitude, thanking the restaurant for the "super thoughtful gesture" as the team works through the sudden disruption.
The outpouring of support follows a fire that broke out at approximately 2:54 a.m. Wednesday at the dealership.
