Community Meeting Set for Wednesday to Discuss Future of Northwest Community Center

ARKANSAS CITY, Kan. — The City of Arkansas City, Wichita State University's Public Policy and Management Center and the Northwest Community Center will host a community engagement event Wednesday evening to discuss the future of the Northwest Community Center, according to the city.

The meeting is scheduled for 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Northwest Community Center, 615 W. Birch Ave. Community input is encouraged and everyone is welcome to attend.

According to a post on the City of Arkansas City's official Facebook page, attendees will discuss ideas, partnerships and opportunities to help activate, strengthen and sustain the Northwest Community Center for years to come. The conversation will also explore community partnerships and a new funding model for the facility.
