City Committee to Review Drug Prevention Funding Requests
Three local organizations seek support from $50,000 allocation pool
MCPHERSON, Kan. — The Special Alcohol and Drug Programs Allocation Committee will meet Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at the Municipal Center to review funding requests from three organizations, including the McPherson Police Department's DARE program, CKF Addiction Treatment, and Live Free Ministries' faith-based Omega Project recovery initiative. The committee will also vote on establishing a $50,000 spending cap for fiscal year 2027 and approve minutes from their February 2025 meeting during the session in the Commission Meeting Room.
