Camden Kruse will study precision agriculture at Kansas State University
MCPHERSON, Kan. — A Canton-Galva High School senior has been awarded the McPherson County Agriculture Future of America Scholarship to study precision agriculture at Kansas State University. Camden Kruse will receive $3,200 for tuition and an additional $1,250 to attend the AFA Leaders Conference in Kansas City, Missouri, this November. The scholarship is funded by the McPherson County Agriculture Committee, which selected Kruse for his background in his family's beef breeding operation and his hands-on experience with agricultural technology. The McPherson County Chamber of Commerce arranges the interviews and handles disbursement of funds through the McPherson County Community Foundation.
