Caldwell Chamber to Host Electric Vehicle Event with Local Coffee Shop

CALDWELL — The Caldwell Chamber of Commerce will host an electric vehicle showcase featuring EVs & Espressos on Oct. 1 from 9-11 a.m. at Heritage Park.
The event will feature Suzy's Bakery & Coffee Shop, which will provide refreshments for attendees. Test drives will be available in a Ford F-150 Lightning electric pickup truck.
Wheatland Electric Cooperative is sponsoring the event as part of National Drive Electric Month. Representatives will be on hand to discuss renewable energy programs, including community solar options.
"Something NEW is brewing," organizers said in promotional materials. The event aims to educate the public about electric vehicles and renewable energy options.
Attendees can learn about the future of electric driving, with organizers promising "FUN FREEBIES and GIVEAWAYS."
The showcase encourages community members to "perk up," "plug in" and "drive electric" as part of the growing electric vehicle movement.
