Bullpups XC Boys, Girls Compete at Buhler
McPherson cross country teams battled heat, with four athletes earning medals.
BUHLER, Kan. — The McPherson Bullpups varsity boys cross country team finished seventh and the varsity girls placed sixth at Thursday's meet in Buhler, with Xavier Hartinger leading the boys by placing 14th in 18:39 to earn a medal. On the JV boys side, McPherson took third as Connor Forsberg (7th, 22:04), Micah Foster (18th, 23:51) and Tyler Ek (20th, 23:58) all medaled. Top varsity girls finisher Kamryn Prescott crossed in 25th place at 24:08, followed by Adeline Kramer (35th, 25:24) and Molly Owen (39th, 25:37).
