Bullpups Varsity XC Battles Mud at Rim Rock
McPherson boys and girls varsity cross country teams posted strong results at the Rim Rock Farm Invitational.
LAWRENCE, Kan. — The McPherson Bullpups varsity boys and girls cross country teams competed Saturday at the Rim Rock Farm Invitational, with the boys finishing 10th out of 55 teams in the Blue Division and the girls placing 12th out of 30 teams in wet, muddy conditions. Leading the boys was Tripp Pelzel (41st, 18:17) and Xavier Hartinger (45th, 18:27), while Adeline Kramer paced the girls with a 39th-place finish in 22:10, followed by Kamryn Prescott in 50th at 22:27. On Sept. 24, the Bullpups JV boys ran at Goddard, where Connor Forsberg led the squad with a seventh-place finish in 20:57.
