Bullpups Varsity Girls Softball Sweeps Mulvane

MCPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson Bullpups varsity girls softball team swept a doubleheader against Mulvane on Friday at McPherson-Grant Sports Complex, winning 17-12 and 11-3.

In Game 1, the Bullpups pounded out 19 hits, led by K Huggard's 6-for-6 day with a home run, while C Pavlovich earned the win on the mound. A Schroeder pitched a complete game in Game 2, scattering eight hits and striking out three as McPherson collected 12 hits, including a triple by B Doile.

McPherson's offense was relentless across both games, combining for 31 hits and 28 runs while taking advantage of six Mulvane errors on the day.
