Bullpups Softball Splits Tuesday Doubleheader
McPherson falls to Great Bend before topping Manhattan on the road.
MANHATTAN, Kan. — The McPherson Bullpups dropped their opening game 11-0 to Great Bend in five innings Tuesday before bouncing back with a 5-1 victory over Manhattan. Against Great Bend, pitcher C. Pavlovich took the loss, surrendering 13 hits and 11 runs in five innings, while the Bullpups managed just four hits and committed two errors. Vs Manhattan, pitcher A. Schroeder tossed a complete-game seven-hitter with no earned runs and no walks.
