Bullpups Shine at Middle School Cross Country Invite
McPherson middle schoolers competed at their home invitational Saturday.
MCPHERSON, Kan. — McPherson middle school boys and girls cross country runners competed Sept. 22 at the McPherson Middle School Invitational. On the boys side, eighth-grader Finn Kramer led the way with a fourth-place finish, posting a time of 12:07 in the 2-mile race, while seventh-grader Juan Gaspar Francisco topped his grade's field with a 14:43; in the girls races, eighth-grader McKaylee Peterson earned third place with a time of 14:55 and classmate Sloan Shober followed with a seventh-place finish at 15:36, with seventh-grader Mali Casebeer placing 10th at 16:10.
