Bullpups Send 11 Events to State Track Meet
McPherson's boys and girls varsity track teams compete Friday in Wichita.
WICHITA, Kan. — The McPherson Bullpups' boys and girls varsity track and field teams opened the Class 4A state meet Friday at Cessna Stadium, with 11 events on the schedule spanning field events, sprints and relays. Athletes competing include Jayren Stutzman in the high jump, Caleb Muehler in the 3,200 meters, Karsen Burris in the javelin, Elley Paulsen in the 100-meter hurdle prelims, Brynn Littlejohn in the discus, Ellie Herrera in the high jump and Adri McLeod in the 200-meter prelims, along with three relay squads — the 4x100 team of Dossett, Buschbom, Wyssmann and McLeod; the girls 4x400 team of Wyssmann, Prescott, Buschbom and Solofra; and the boys 4x400 team of Becker, Pelzel, Bowen and Friesen.
