Bullpups Girls Soccer Falls in PKs at Invitational
Valley Center edges McPherson 3-2 in penalty kicks in tournament semifinal.
MCPHERSON, Kan. — Becca Lulloff scored both goals for McPherson in a semifinal loss to Valley Center at the McPherson Invitational Soccer Tournament, with the match decided 3-2 in penalty kicks after the teams played to a draw in regulation. Addison Shaft assisted Lulloff's first-half goal and Grace Prescott set up her second-half strike, while goalkeeper Ellie Herrera made five saves on the night.
The Bullpups will play Salina South in the third-place game Friday.
