Bullpups Girls Draw Buhler in Sub-State

MCPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson High School girls basketball team, seeded No. 8 with a 13-10 record, will host No. 9 Buhler (11-12) at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the first round of the Sub-State 1 bracket. The winner will advance to the sub-state championship game Friday, where No. 1 seed Wellington (20-1), which hosts No. 16 Abilene (4-17) in the other first-round matchup, looms as the likely opponent.
