Bullpups Fall to Mulvane in Boys Varsity State Semis
McPherson drops a 5-4 heartbreaker, will play for third Saturday.
MANHATTAN, Kan. — The McPherson varsity boys baseball team fell to Mulvane 5-4 in the Class 4A state semifinals Friday at KSU Tointon Family Stadium. The Bullpups led 4-1 heading into the sixth inning before Mulvane rallied to tie and eventually take the lead, sending McPherson to Saturday's third-place game at 11 a.m.
