Bullpups Dominate El Dorado

he McPherson Bullpups controlled the game from start to finish Tuesday night, cruising past El Dorado 74-49 at the Roundhouse.

McPherson jumped out to a 20-15 lead after the first quarter and extended the advantage to 35-26 at halftime. The Bullpups blew the game open in the second half, outscoring the Wildcats 39-23 over the final two periods and building a lead as large as 27 points.

Freshman Eli Reasoner led all scorers with 25 points on 10-of-17 shooting to go along with 8 rebounds, 2 blocks and a steal. Jett Pyle added 22 points, hitting 6-of-9 from the field including two three-pointers, while going 8-of-11 from the free throw line.

Paxton Ingels chipped in 9 points with 2 assists, 2 blocks and a steal, while Cole Cooper added 5 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. Cade Strathman pulled down 6 rebounds to help McPherson control the glass, as both teams finished with 36 total rebounds.
