Bullpups Baseball Claims 3rd at State
McPherson wins the Class 4A third-place game over Paola, 11-0.
MANHATTAN, Kan. — The McPherson Bullpups varsity baseball team closed out their season Friday with an 11-0 run-rule victory over Paola in the Class 4A third-place game at Kansas State University Baseball Stadium. The Bullpups jumped out to a 2-0 lead after the first inning, extended it to 3-0 through two and then erupted for eight runs in the third to seal the dominant finish.
