The McPherson Middle School A team girls basketball squad continued its undefeated season with a pair of commanding victories, defeating Rose Hill 60-9 on Sunday and El Dorado 61-3 on Wednesday to improve to 4-0 under head coach Matt Sandbo.

The Bullpups have overwhelmed opponents with balanced scoring and suffocating defense through the first four games of the season, outscoring their opponents by an average of more than 50 points per game.

Elles Pavlovich led the offensive assault against El Dorado with 22 points, six assists and four steals, while Noelle Schmidt added 11 points, eight steals and six rebounds. Against Rose Hill, Schmidt paced the Bullpups with 14 points and 10 steals, while Abby Schieferecke contributed 13 points and five rebounds. Mylee Cooke, Kinsley Postier, and Myiah Crawford-Dingman also provided consistent scoring and rebounding throughout both contests, with Postier pulling down 11 rebounds against El Dorado.

The B team earned its first victory of the season with a 17-15 win over El Dorado on Wednesday, improving to 1-4. Brea LeGron scored nine points to lead the Bullpups in the hard-fought victory after falling to Rose Hill 39-10 earlier in the week.
