Bullpup Boys Roll Past Mulvane on Senior Night
McPherson cruises to 68-46 victory, improving to 13-9 on the season
The McPherson Bullpups made Senior Night one to remember Tuesday, rolling past the Mulvane Wildcats 68-46 in dominant fashion to improve to 13-9 with one regular season game remaining.
McPherson controlled the game from the opening tip, building a lead they would never relinquish. The Bullpups led by as many as 26 points in the third quarter and outscored Mulvane in three of four periods, holding the Wildcats to just 9 points in the second quarter.
Jett Pyle was the standout of the night, pouring in a game-high 21 points on 8-of-10 shooting to go along with 5 assists. Cade Strathman and Cole Cooper each added 12 points, with Cooper pulling down 8 rebounds. Paxton Ingels contributed 8 points and 7 rebounds.
McPherson shot an efficient 50% from the field on the night, connecting on 27 of 54 attempts.
For Mulvane, Canon Lazier led the Wildcats with 17 points on 6-of-12 shooting.
