Boys JV Tennis Takes Fifth at Derby Invitational
Seth Turner medals with third-place finish in No. 1 singles at Derby.
DERBY, Kan. — The McPherson boys junior varsity tennis team tied for fifth place with Conway Springs at the Derby High School Invitational on Saturday, finishing with 12 points in the eight-team field. Seth Turner led the Bullpups with a 3-2 record and a third-place medal in No. 1 singles, while all seven McPherson players picked up their first wins of the season.
Derby Green claimed the team title with 36 points, followed by Eisenhower with 27 and Derby Black with 20.
