Boys JV Tennis Competes at Hesston Tourney
Logan Allen earns third-place medal as Bullpups gain experience in windy conditions.
HESSTON, Kan. — The McPherson boys junior varsity tennis team competed in a tournament at Hesston High School, with each player getting four matches of experience despite challenging wind conditions.
Logan Allen led the Bullpups at No. 2 singles, going 2-2 to earn a third-place medal. Aiden Pattison finished fourth at No. 1 singles (1-3), while the doubles teams of Bradon Holm/Derek Stucky and Kaden Kagle/Dylan Smith each went 1-3 to place fourth.
McPherson head coach noted several players dropped close matches that could have put them in medal contention and said the team will continue its busy week with a JV tournament Tuesday in Lindsborg.
