Boys 8U Baseball: Bullpups Win Salina SlugFest
McPherson 8U Red goes 4-0 to claim tournament championship in Salina.
SALINA, Kan. — The McPherson Bullpups 8U Red boys baseball team went 4-0 to capture the Salina SlugFest 8U championship over the weekend.
McPherson rolled through Saturday pool play with a 17-1 win over the ABC Bandits and a 16-8 victory against the White City Sluggers to earn the No. 1 seed in bracket play. The Bullpups then edged White City 10-9 in the semifinals before closing out the tournament with a 17-4 win over the SES Sluggers in the championship game.
