McPHERSON, Kan. — Haven Bower scored 21 points on 9-of-11 shooting and Grace Prescott recorded 17 points, 12 assists and eight rebounds as the ECS Eagles cruised to a 53-35 home victory over Central Christian Academy on Monday. ECS jumped out to a 26-7 lead after the first quarter and never looked back, leading 35-17 at halftime and building a lead as large as 23 points. Joy Pyle added 10 points, seven rebounds and five blocks for the Eagles, who shot 46.9 percent from the field and forced 18 Central Christian turnovers. Kami Noggle contributed four steals and two blocks defensively. Central Christian shot just 30.6 percent from the floor and was held scoreless from the free-throw line, going 0-for-1.
