As MCCF's founding president, Goss helped shape the organization's mission and direction, playing an instrumental role in its remarkable growth. Under her leadership, the foundation has awarded more than $35 million in grants to support local initiatives and has expanded from a single part-time position to a team of five full-time staff members committed to strengthening communities throughout McPherson County. Her vision and dedication have been fundamental to establishing the foundation as a cornerstone of philanthropic work in the region.

"Becky's impact is woven into every success story we share," foundation officials stated. "Telling the story of MCCF simply isn't possible without her. We are endlessly grateful for the time and energy she has given to Foundation and McPherson County." Goss's quarter-century of service encompasses not only her leadership role at MCCF but also her involvement with various nonprofit organizations throughout the county. The Philanthropist of the Year award includes a monetary prize that the recipient designates to a local organization or project of their choice, continuing the tradition of giving back to the community.
