Arkansas City to Celebrate New Pickleball Courts with Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

ARKANSAS CITY, Kan. — The city of Arkansas City and the Arkansas City Area Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday for the new pickleball courts at Wilson Park.

The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. June 2, 2026, at Wilson Park Pickleball Courts.

City officials say the courts have already drawn players to the park since their installation and called the facility a welcome addition to the community.

Residents are invited to tour the courts, meet local players and take part in the celebration.
