Winfield Library Receives $10,000 Gift from Carnegie Corporation
The Winfield Public Library has received a $10,000 gift from the Carnegie Corporation of New York in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary. The Winfield Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for participants in this year’s Lighted Christmas Parade. The parade, themed “The North Pole,” is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, along Main Street from 17th Avenue to 10th Avenue in Winfield. Applications are due by Friday
