1. Board Approves Cooperative Agreement with MRC

MOUNDRIDGE, Kan. – The Moundridge USD 423 Board of Education unanimously approved a cooperative agreement between the school district and the McPherson Recreation Commission (MRC) during its meeting on Sept. 17, 2025. The motion to approve the agreement as presented was made by board member Craig Galle and seconded by Josh Allenbach, passing with a 7-0 vote.

2. New Members Appointed to School Site Councils

MOUNDRIDGE, Kan. – The Board of Education unanimously approved the membership list for the district's elementary and middle/high school site councils for the 2024-25 school year. For the elementary school, new members include Clay Hensley, Lindsey Begnoche, Kyle Neufeld, Karis Friesen, Cheryl Brandewiede, Caley Moddelmog, Summer Creed, and Travis Schafer. The middle and high school council members are Faith Ward, Kali Jantz, Syri Larson Tegethoff, Melisa Kuder, Samantha Doane, Crystal Schwartz, Zach Cannizzo, Dale Patrick, and Kendall Vogts.

3. District Hires Middle School Quiz Bowl Coach

MOUNDRIDGE, Kan. – Jill Robb was hired as the new Middle School Quiz Bowl coach for the 2025-26 school year following a unanimous vote by the Board of Education on Sept. 17. The motion to approve the hiring was made by Craig Galle and seconded by Dwight Goering.
