Board Publishes 2026 Budget and Revenue Neutral Rate
Superintendent’s Contract Extended to 2027
The board voted to secure district leadership for the next two years, approving a contract extension for Superintendent Cody Rierson through July 30, 2027. The item was a late addition to the evening’s business, having been added to the agenda via a 5-0 vote at the beginning of the meeting. A motion made by Josh Allenbach and seconded by Kyle Neufeld to set the rate at $130 per day passed with a 5-0 vote. This represents a key operational and budget decision as the district prepares for the 2025-2026 school year.
Fiscal Year 2025 Audit Accepted
The board formally accepted the 2024-25 Fiscal Audit Report after a presentation by John Regier of Loyd Group, LLC. The audit provides an independent review of the district’s financial statements and practices from the previous fiscal year, serving as a key measure of accountability for the use of taxpayer funds. The motion to approve the report was made by Kyle Neufeld, seconded by Josh Allenbach, and passed 5-0.
