2nd Grade Lady Pups Sweep Doubleheader in Hutchinson
Young Bullpups dominate Holy Cross and Buhler with strong defensive performances
The 2nd grade Lady Pups basketball team swept a doubleheader in Hutchinson on Saturday, defeating Holy Cross 28-2 in the opener before shutting out Buhler 14-0 in the nightcap.
In the first game against Holy Cross, Tenley Fawl, Madi King, and Tenley Williams each scored 8 points to lead the balanced offensive attack, while Landri Jusko and Preslee Grant added 2 points apiece in the 26-point victory. The Lady Pups continued their defensive dominance in game two, blanking Buhler 14-0 behind King's 8 points and Fawl's 6 points. The young Bullpups held their two opponents to just 2 combined points on the day.
