2025 McPherson County Christmas Project
Bringing Holiday Joy to Families Across McPherson County

The 2025 McPherson County Christmas Project is ready to make the holidays brighter for families throughout the community. Coordinated by the McPherson County Resource Council and supported by numerous local service organizations, individuals, and businesses, this comprehensive initiative aims to bring Christmas into the homes of many McPherson County families who need assistance during the holiday season.
The project encompasses six distinct programs designed to meet various needs: the Angel Tree program provides new clothing to children in need, while Toys for Kids (American Legion) delivers toys to children 12 and younger. The Gifts Intended for Teens (Optimist program) serves youths ages 13 to 18, and Food Baskets ensure families have meals during the holidays. Additionally, the McPherson Quilt Guild contributes baby quilts for infants under one year, and the Books for Children program gives age-appropriate books to children 12 and younger. Registration opens September 1 and continues through November 26, 2025, with families unable to register during this period encouraged to contact the Resource Council. Community members interested in volunteering can sign up through the project website, and questions can be directed to resourcecouncilmcpherson@gmail.com.
