14th Avenue to Close for 10 Days Starting Monday
Detours available; large trucks advised to use Pawnee and I-135
MCPHERSON, KS — McPherson County Public Works announced that 14th Avenue, also known as Old 81 Highway or County Road 1961, will be closed from Mohawk to Navajo beginning Monday, August 4, through Thursday, August 14. Motorists should follow the designated detour route shown on maps available from the county, while large trucks are encouraged to use the Pawnee and I-135 detour to avoid congestion on smaller roads. The county public works department will provide status updates as new information becomes available throughout the 10-day closure period.
