# Youth Football Camp Set for Late July in McPherson

The McPherson Recreation Commission will host a three-day youth football camp from July 28-30 at the McPherson High School Football Field. The evening camp, running from 7:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. each night, is open to incoming kindergarten through eighth-grade students and offers young athletes an opportunity to develop their football skills during the summer break.

Registration is now open for the camp, with costs set at $50 for McPherson residents and $55 for non-residents. Participants can register by scanning the QR code on promotional materials or by visiting [www.ymca-mrc.org](http://www.ymca-mrc.org/?ref=citizenjournal.us) for more information. The camp's evening schedule allows families to avoid the peak summer heat while still providing quality instruction time for youth interested in learning football fundamentals.
