EMPORIA, Kan. — The Emporia Board of Education voted 6-1 to close Logan Avenue Elementary School at the end of the 2026-27 school year. Students residing north of South Avenue will be reassigned to William Allen White Elementary School, while those to the south will attend Riverside Elementary School.
