# Sheriff's office reports strong turnout at McPherson first responders' night

A drone, a K-9 and impairment-simulating goggles drew McPherson residents to the county sheriff's office booths at this week's Community First Responders' Night, the agency said in a Facebook post. The office's offerings also included an Identa-Kid booth, photo ops, stickers and candy, according to the post. Citizen Journal [previewed the event](https://www.citizenjournal.us/mcpherson-community-first-responders-night-to-feature-bearcat-and-k-9-demonstrations/) Tuesday, Sept. 22, as a showcase for BearCat and K-9 demonstrations.
