# Sheriff, police thank supporters after McPherson SRT golf fundraiser

The McPherson County Sheriff's Office and McPherson Police Department thanked supporters Monday, Oct. 12, after the [fifth annual](https://www.citizenjournal.us/friends-of-mcpherson-county-srt-seeks-golfers-for-fifth-annual-fundraiser/) Friends of McPherson County Special Response Team golf tournament, held Saturday, Oct. 10, at Turkey Creek Golf Course.

The sheriff's office shared photos from the organizer and wrote beside a golf emoji: "Huge shout out to the folks that attend, sponsor, and organize this event. We truly appreciate all the support!" The police department shared the same photos without its own statement.
