Newton High School students Orlando Gonzalez and Caroline Rickard were crowned the 2026 fall homecoming king and queen during Friday's festivities. The pair emerged from a six-student homecoming court that also featured candidates Gianna Beard, Ethan Adams, Lily Smith and Eric Solorio. The coronation capped off a week of school spirit celebrations for Unified School District 373, which included a Wednesday night downtown parade, a community tailgate and a Friday night home football game.
