Tecumseh

Tecumseh was a visionary Shawnee leader who revolutionized Native American resistance through pan-Indian unity. From 1808 onward, he traveled thousands of miles forging a native confederacy, arguing that land belonged collectively to all Indigenous peoples. Though militarily defeated, his vision of Indigenous nationalism and collective land rights created a framework that inspired generations.
