MCPHERSON, Kan. — McPherson residents can legally set off fireworks within the city from July 2 through July 4\. The McPherson Fire Department issued a public reminder ahead of the holiday, urging the community to practice caution while celebrating the Fourth of July. Officials are encouraging residents to follow the three-day designated window to ensure a safe and happy Independence Day.
