Anna Kahle delivered the most impressive performance of the day, defeating El Dorado's top singles player Emmalin Drake 6-4\. After falling behind 0-2, Kahle adjusted her strategy by bringing her opponent forward in the court, then hitting deeper shots to the backhand while displaying excellent court movement and persistence. Elsie Walters continued her strong season with a hard-fought 6-5 singles victory over Sandra Keener, combining effective forehands and court movement with a willingness to adapt to coaching and exploit opponent weaknesses. Walters later teamed with Karsen Greer for a 6-2 doubles victory, with both players demonstrating excellent chemistry and mutual support. Madison Pollman controlled her singles match against Kaliah Wilkinson, winning 6-4 by moving her opponent around the court and dictating points. Mabel Jones dominated her singles contest with a 6-0 victory over Karsynn Hasting, utilizing consistent serves and strong backhands. Niah Janes showed resilience in a tight 6-5 win over Jamie Moomey, rallying from behind in the final games with powerful serves and ground strokes. Brynnlee Torsell, competing in both singles and doubles, fought hard in competitive matches but fell short in both contests, losing 4-6 to Zoe Andrews in singles. "For many of these players, it is incredible to see the progress they have made so far this season," said coach Henry Weiner. "I look forward to seeing how much they can continue to improve over the remainder of the season." The victory demonstrated the growing depth and competitiveness of the McPherson middle school program as players continue their development throughout the season.
