MCPHERSON, Kan. — The City of McPherson ended 2025 with $32.4 million in its bank accounts, according to a financial report released this week by Finance Director Richard Miller. The quarterly statement shows the city took in $3.3 million and spent $3.5 million during the final three months of the year across everything from park maintenance to street repairs.

The city's main operating account, which covers police, fire, streets and other daily services, held $6.4 million at the end of December. McPherson owes $17.2 million in bonds and loans, including money borrowed for infrastructure projects like improvements to the West Trunk Line sanitary sewer.
