# McPherson Community Brass to perform at The Cedars

MCPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson Community Brass will perform at 7 p.m. Monday, April 20 at The Event Center at The Cedars, a retirement community on 60 acres. Directed by Tabor College professor Christopher Teichler, the 16-piece civic ensemble features veteran musicians from across the region who travel to McPherson for weekly rehearsals. Organizers are encouraging residents to attend and support the volunteer group, which has been active in the area since 1973.
