# McPherson College students get guaranteed path into Wichita State athletic training master's

According to a McPherson College news release, five students who meet Wichita State University's Master of Science in Athletic Training admission requirements will be guaranteed acceptance under an agreement the schools announced Tuesday, Sept. 29\. Students must still apply and complete the same admission process as other applicants.

The agreement follows an [accelerated MBA pathway the schools announced March 31](https://www.wichita.edu/about/wsunews/news/2026/03-march/mcpherson%5F1.php?ref=citizenjournal.us). Beginning in fall 2026, eligible McPherson undergraduates may complete up to three Wichita State MBA courses — nine graduate credit hours — while finishing their bachelor's degrees.
