# McPherson Chamber banquet set for Oct. 21; tickets cost $50

The McPherson Chamber of Commerce will hold its 2026 Chamber Banquet and Awards from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, at the McPherson Community Building, according to a Sept. 8 report from Ad Astra Radio.

Tickets cost $50, and reservations are due Wednesday, Oct. 14\. Reservations may be made by contacting the chamber at chamber@mcphersonks.org or 620-241-3303.

According to the chamber, the [Emerging Leader Award](https://www.mcphersonchamber.org/news/nominations-open-for-the-2026-emerging-leader-award/?ref=citizenjournal.us) recognizes someone who is making a meaningful impact in their profession and in the McPherson County community. Nominees should demonstrate excellence, creativity and initiative at work, as well as a commitment to community service.

Eligible nominees must have worked for their current company for at least one year or owned and operated a business for at least one year. They also must be affiliated with a current McPherson Chamber member business. Nominations closed at 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14.
