# McPherson Band Wins Grand Champion at Baker Festival

The McPherson High School Marching Band captured the Grand Champion trophy at the Baker Marching Festival on October 8th, earning a 1 rating for their performance. The top rating represents the highest achievement level in the competition, recognizing superior performance in musical execution, marching precision, and overall presentation.

The Grand Champion designation places McPherson above all other participating bands in the festival, marking another successful competition for the Bullpup musicians this season. The achievement continues the band program's strong tradition of excellence in marching competitions throughout the region.
